CAUSES REACTION.
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.)
LONDON, .September 7,
The “Times” Berlin correspondent says a quick -public reaction to Germany’s claim for equal armaments is revealed by substantial rises in shares. Two firms are expected to / -benefit therefirom. One is permitted under the peace treaty to manufacture arms and. munitions, and .the other is not permitted, but has actually installed a. munition manufacturing equipment.
Germany is pursuing a logical policy, first attacking the occupation of the Rhineland, then reparations, and now armlamlent restrictions. Directly she secures the abolition sho will insist on territorial revision of Europe and the colonies.
