Advice to women —and men —who “nag” was given yesterday by the Gov-ernpr-General, Lord Bledisloe', in the course of an address. “Many well-intentioned people indulge in nagging,” said his Excellency. “It is deemed the privilege of the fansex. but I can’t help thinking that some “old women’ among us indulge in it, too. (Laughter.) “The fair sex are much more attractive and far more convincing without it. Nagging never yet made the crooked , straight, and it sometimes makes the straight crooked; Therefore resist the temptation to do it-”
