N.Z. COUNCIL SEEKS FUNDS

WELLINGTON, September 5. The N.Z. Athletic Council has decided to apply for its inclusion on the list of bodies conducting art unions. The funds are to be devoted to the fostering of athletics among juniors and schools.
The Council also has agreed to a scheme for the registration of all athletes, the fees payable to bo fixed by the various centres, and a. mimimum of one shilling to come to the New Zealand Association, as an overseas representative fund.
