T|*e Viceroy, the Assembly, stated that a small round table conference of representative of British India and th e Indians States would meet in London .in November and make an earnest attempt to reach an agreement on the outstanding questions of constitutional policy. He made a comprehensiv 0 review of the position and said that there would be no compromise with Congress while the civil disobedience movement continues. The Congress campaign would not succeed while the Government maintained its present policy.
