The Minister of Health, Sir Hilton Young, has arranged to spend three weeks in certain distressed areas, to inform himself, by direct personal 'contact-, of the situation ■ and of the measures taken and those in contemplation by the. local authorities for the dealing with the uii.Mployod. He will visit the Lancashire, Tyneside and South Wales areas; in which th e , unemployment has hem severe and prolonged.
