Factors contributing to bring about low prices overseas for'farmers’ product were outlined by Mr T. A. Duncan, acting* chairman of the Meat Produces Board in an address to the annual meeting of • delegates. Among thosefactors, he mentioned that a tremendous quantity of continental bacon which had been landed in the United Kingdom during the last twelve months and; sold a,t the consumption of all,classes ol meat.
