NAZI ATTACK

DISSOLUTION OF REICHSTAG.

WILL ESTABLISH DICTATORSHIP

(Times Service)

BERLIN, Aug. 30

Trie -Nazi organ “Volkisclier Blobachter,” bitterly attacks Chancellor Von Papen. It says that if his Cabinet dissolves the Reichstag, in order to enable it to continue governing, it will establish a pure military dictatorship, based on bayonets, without the support of the smallest section of the people.

Tlie correspondent says that the GovqrnmentV economic programme has caused a lively rise in prices on the Berlin Bourse. The bigness and boldness of the scheme by which the Von Papen Government, as with a wave of the hand, proposes to produce over two milliard marks, and to demobilise onethird of *he army of the unemployed appeals to the public imagination, which would sooner see a gallant gamble than inaction. Tlie Government believes that the turn in the tide of the crisis has come, and it considers that the psychological moment has arrived for a bold effort to revive confidence, stimulate industry, and combat unemployment.

SEVERE SNUB FOR THE DIET

(Received this day at 9.25 a.m) BERLIN, Aug. 30

Von Papen’s acting-Prussian Government severely snubbed tlie Prussian Diet by instructing all Prussian officials not to enter the Chamber, cloak rooms, or lobbies unless specially authorised. Hera* Branch, deputvcfommissioner of Prussia, and other leading ministers, decline to appear in the Diet, intimating that Von Hindenburg had 1 appointed them. Therefore they wore not responsile to the Diet.
