RECORD FLIGHT. EXAM OF PUPILS. Flight-Lieut. Somerset-Thomas flew from Christchurch to Hokitika this morning in record time, taking 1 hour 5 minutes for the journey. / , , On arrival the four pupils at Hokitika were examined for their certificates, and all were successful and passed the tests for licenses. Mr A. H. Nancekivell also was successful in having lii.s license endorsed to authorise him to carry passengers. Fliglit-Lieut Somerset-Thomas I(,ft this afternoon on his return journey to Christchurch.
