All of the teams showed a good standard of hockey. The results were : A SECTION. Marlborough 2, beat Eastern Southland B, 0. Otago A 5, beat Central Otago I. Southland A 4, drew with Wellington 4. B SECTION. Canterbury. 5, heat West Coast B 1. Otago B 2, beat Southland B 0. West Coast A 2, beat South Canterbury 1. OTAGO Y. CANTERBURY. DUNEDIN,' August 27. In a men’s hockey match, Otago met Canterbury in an interprovincial game at the Stadium to-day, winning by 5 goals to 3. Canterbury scored in. the last minutes of play. In the inter-University game, Otago University beat Canterbury College by 6 goals to 2.
