MOLLISON’S RETURN FLIGHT

STARTS FIRST FINE NIGHT.

RUGBY, August 25.

It is reported that Mollison hopes to start from New York, on the first fine evening for St. Johns, New Brunswick, on the return flight across the Atlantic. He would leaie on the second evening for Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, and the following morning for London, travelling via Iceland. Mrs Mollison plans to fly to met her husband ovei Iceland, and to escort him to Croydon Aerodrome.

The Secretary for Air has received the following telegram from Mollison: “Many thanks for the congratulations of the Air Council, which I greatly appreciate.”

BRITISH AVIATION TRAFFIC.

With the arrival at Croydon last night of an Imperial Airways liner, the “Horatius,” British civil aviation completed its thirteenth year of' working. During its first year an average of ‘2O passengers flew the Channel weekly. The total has steadily risen, until last week, nearly 3000 air travellers ei.teied or left Croydon air station.

VON GRONAU GOING WELL

NEW YORK, August 25. A message from Cordova states that Von Gronan hopped off for Dutch Harbour, to-day. HUTCH HARBOUR (Alaska) Aug. 2o The German airman, Von Gronau, has arrived here from Cordova, after covering the nine-hundred miles in nine hours.
