The following report relates to the fdtfF weeks from July 17th, 1932, to August 13th, 1932:—Total gold won, 09oa Kkhvfc; total time worked, 469 hours; total non-working time, 107 hours; total yardage treated, 27,400, an average of 58 cubic yards per hour; average vdre of ground (on basis! of gold worth £4 per ounce), 3£d per .u'jio yard.
KAWARAU GOLD. A SUCt BSSFIJb FORTNIGHT. DUNEDIN, August 23. With the gates open, operation's are now ceasing on the Kawarau after a successful two weeks. Reliable statements of the results gained show that £2OOO worth of gold has boon obtained.
