/•' SYDNEY, Aug. 24. The New Zealand hockey t;am played their* final'match of the tour to-day against/a New South Wales eleven, was greatly strengthened by the inclusion of three countiy era. ks aim ! the New Zealanders were lucky tc escape defeat and to maintain an unbeaten record.

The New Zealand forwards appeared to be stale after their,Jong tour, and lacked their customary combination. Munro suffered a badly cut but hie continued to play. There were brilliant rallies in this second half, but ne’thi.r side was able to add to the score, and the fkal result was a draw f each side having a score of one goal.
