MOLLISON’S RETURN FLIGHT

MAY BE MADE THIS WEEK,

RUGBY, August 22

Although New York is feting Mob lison, and he has been deluged with invitations, it is anticipated he will make a return flight to. England in the near future, probably thife week. His Pass Moth machine and . Gipsy HI engine are, he says, in perfect condition and require no attention.^ This is borne out by a report to the makers, Messrs De Havilarid, from New York engineers, who say the machine does not appear to have flown fiity miles, and is quite ready for a return journey. It consumed only/three and a quarter gallons of 0.l during the 30 .hours’ flight. As he , can depend on following winds and wtl have a long north to south cort'l'no ahead, Molli-t-on expects the return flight to be easier. He will shape his cciuise foi Croydon.
