RIVALS V. KIWI. Since the Rimu team withdrew from the senior competition, several of its players transferred their colours to other Clubs.. When the Rival team took- the field its team wqis strengthened by the inclusion of five Rimu players, whose assistance was!.welcome. Characterised by hard forward play, and each profiting by the other’s errors, the match between Kiwi juniors and Westport Old Roys was won by the home team by 8 points to- nil. Her Kiwi, trie# were obtained by Hanvahan and Bell, Hamilton converting one. The match between Excelsior and Kiwi was postponed owing to the visit of the Westport team,, and the team -fielded against the visitors contained several Excelsior players. - A. Cutbush was referee.
