The gas tube was near him and he .had a sack over his head. When found he had £4 Os 6d in his possession. The expenses incurred were: Hospital' expenses £2 12s 2d, doctor’s fee 10s 6d, and car hire 3s. The Sergeant said that the Hospital authorities were prepared to accept the accused as a patient at the Old People’s Home and the accused had agreed to enter the homs. He was therefore convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within twelve months, f a condition being that lie* apply for admission to the Old People’s Home.
