India.,is, taking drastic measut*ess to quell Bengal terrorism, which- was recently intensified in the form of murders and attacks, on Government officials and police, political brigandlagei, mai] and thefts of arms and ammunition. Accordingly six battalions of Indian and one battalion of British infantry are proceeding to Bengal early in October to assist the police in combing out the terrorists.
