ORGANISATION’S IN OPERATION. (Received this day at 11.15 a.m.) , OTTAWA, August 18. :The sub-committee on existing machinery and economic co-operation reports that the- following eleven Empire organisations are in bei'ng:—lmperial Economic Shipping; Committed'. Imperial ' Agricultural "Bur-: eau, Imperial Institute, Imperial Institute of Entomology, Imperial Mycoiogical Institute, Imperial Communications Advisory Committee, Mechanical Transport Council, Imperial Forestry institute, Empire Timbers Committee, and the Empire Marketing Board. - The committee explains how each is financed but refrains from commenting on the possible overlapping, or gaps, the functions of these bodies. This report, which ranks second in importance to the currency report,- is more voluminous and comprehensive than any other at this Conference, and will produce as a result many sittings o*f experts of all Empire Countries. While the leaders of delegations .assisted business advisers, they were engaged' 'in ithe main ..task of .plaumng methods to revive extra Empire trade,
