GLOOMY OUTLOOK
FOR TEACHERS IN N.S.W.

SYDNEY, August 17
The New South Wales Government have decided, in the interests of retrenchment, to retire all of the married women teachers in the State, numbering 1200, unless they can show that undue hardship' will result to their, families by reason of their dismissal.
About three hundred unemployed student teachers will fill the positions of women who are to be dismissed.
