■Sir diaries King',ford Smith informs the New Zealand Press Association that, owing to the strain of a seven weeks’ flying tour of Queensland'which lie has, just completed, his medical adviser forbids him to make any ocean flights for some time. ... , As Sir C. Kin.gsford Smith, though progressing well, has not yet thrown, off mil the effects of nis last year’s breakdown on his journey to England, his projected flight to New Zealand is therefore postponed, blit Smith definitely intends to make the venture later.
Meanwhile he is keenly disappointed, as he had hoped to renew many friendships. He regrets that the preparations in New Zealand for the arrival of his pllane will be unavailing in the meantime.
