DISCONTINUING .IN N.S.W. / (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, August' 16. Mechanical hare coursing in this State will cease on September 30. The Government have decided not. to renew the licenses for the various courses after that date. ' It is also probable that there will be also a curtailment of the mid-week horse-racing and pony-racing. ■ _ The Government are of the opinion that there are too many facilities for gambling.
