The Board has • approved of the holding of a at Dtmedin in the near future,. to which representatives of the Associations operating in the Canterbury, Otago) and Southland rural intermediate creditdistricts will be invited. The conference will be presided- over by - Mr,; John Brown, a member of the Board,’ and there also will'be present the De-puty-Commissioner of Rural Intermediate Credit, Mr J. Snell, the District! Supervisors controlling the •• districts concerned, and the members of the Otago District Board. The Board intends to give special consideration to the question of extending its business in the' South , island, where the progress has■ not :been so great as in. the North Island. • . >.
