SUB-COMMITTEE’S INVESTIGATION (United Press Association—By 'Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) •• - The sub-committee investigating the grading and standards of agricultural products;' surveyed the steps taken by the Dominions-following the 1930%>% ference’s resolution- advocating the ,es-, tablishmerit of reasonable unity' in grading 1 standards. It was found that little action had been taken although various parts of the Empire, made tentative, independent moves. ■ Ireland established to maintain the standards for eggs, butter, meat and potatoes. Australia, and New haven, long list of stablistied grades., panada has a definite grading, notably,., grain. It is still considered highly desirable to arrange Empire unity in this , direction, because it would reduce . waste ,and avoid confusion, and cheap-, en ad/ertising.
