THE ST. LEGER STAKES. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, August 1. A decision to reinstate the St. Ledger stakes with a .stake of £250 was made at the. monthly meeing of the Wellington Racing Club's committee yesterday. This means that the continuity of the classic will not now be broken as '-emed the possibility when nominations were called, for the 193 T St. Ledger in June. Entries, will be soon accepted for'the 1934 St. Ledger.'The committee H.so approved the proposal to provide ten shilling windows, as welt as one pound and five pound windows, in th 6 main tofalisator building at.Trentham.
