THE WESTLAND SUB : UNION. The weekly meeting of the Westland Rugby Sub-Union was held last evening when there,were present! Messrs J. C. Stafford (chairman), F. Freitas, A. Cutbush, A. H. Lawn, F. McGregor , A. Thompson, R. McDonald, J. McCallum, J. L, Menzies, J., MeClpary,; W. H. Stopforth, and D. Dowell. The secretary reported that the following junior matches -emained to be played tc complete the juhior competition:—School v, Kokatahi, at -Kokatahi, 3 p.m. (J., L. Menzies); ; Rijnu v. Ross, at Ross; at 3 p.m. (D. Breeze); also Kokatahi v. Exce/siqr,, .at a future date. .... r ,x ,/ - A grant of a football was ma.de to the Humphreys It was decide^(dthat,.,Messrs ■ D- .R.. | Dowell and R. A. Cutbush was appointed to referee the Newman Shield match next Saturday. - .. .
