ARSON ADMITTED
MEN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE

DUNEDIN, July 29,
. At the Police Court to-day, before Mr Bundle, S.M., William Alexandei McKenzie, Thomas Mills Stewart and Stewart Walter Muir were charged with on July 4th wilfully setting fire to a shop and dwelling owned by McKenzie. „ ; Detective Power stated that he found some partly-burned cotton wool amongst the cinders in the shop. The accused, in statements had admitted the offence, their object being to obtain insurance money.
The accused pleaded guilty, and were committed for sentence.
