In fine weather and h/ore- a large attendance the Gisborne Racing Club censed existence to-day after fortythree years of racing, with the second day o-f the winter meeting. The club is .heneforth being merged into the Poverty Bay Turf Climb. The . course was very fair despite heavy rainy fc-r the last- two days.
