All pupils presented passed. Results were:—Professional examination—Licentiate T. C. L.—Monica Knowles, Convent, (practical) 77. Senior grade:—Clare Cook (Convent), piano, honours, 80; , Eileen O’Connor (Convent), piano, honours, 80; Mary McGavin (Miss James), elocution, pass, 75. Intermediate grade:—Adeline Pridmore (Convent), piano, pass, 77. Junior grade:—Clare Cook (Convent), singing, pass, 78. Preparatory grade:—Graham Wise (Convent), violin, honours, 87; John Pickering (Convent), violin, honours, 84; Beatrice Bell (Mrs Ball, Matninui), piano, pass, 68; Elizabeth Moodie (Mrs Bell, Matainui), piano, pass, 66. •
