GERMAN ELECTIONS
JEWS Y. NAZIS
FEROCITY OF CAMPAIGN
(United Pi ess Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.)
BERLIN, July 28. > It is understood that,,.the Jewish vote in Germany at the general elecetions on Saturday will go to the Catholic Centre Party, which the Jews regard as being the only party that is capable by its numbers and its influence to keep the , anti Semitism of the Hitlerites in check.
Press correspondents now appear to be unanimous that Hitler will not have an absolute majority. Thfe election campaign is being conducted with extreme ferocity, in posters, cartoons and newspapers.
The Nazis vilify their opponents the Communists, and the Socialists are retorting in such a way as to suggest that the Nazis are semi-bestial creatures,, who spend their time terrorising the people and committing murders.
Hitler is touring the country in ‘an aeroplane and everywhere is being deceived by monster audiences.
