The paper declares that> the German demand for equality of treatment is even more justifiable than her demand for the “cessation of Reparation payments, since the claim to equality, derives directly from the Versailles Treaty. “Germany’s disarmament,” says the paper, “was a condition for the disarmament of other countries, and as a beginning has not yet 'been made in this direction, Germany justly claims the right to regain her freedom of action.”
