ACTIVITIES IN NICARAGUA.

WASHINGTON, July 22. The American occupation of Nicaragua cost the lives of forty-five marines, the State Department announced today in a detailed report of relations since 1927, when President Coolidge sent troops there to protect American interests. As a result of this occupation, it was stated, banditry had been largely suppressed and order restored in the various provinces.
