A" member of the Main Body, he was serfcwsly wounded on GaHipol’, arid on his return, acted as instructor at Trenthamand 1 Featlierston till the dose of the War. He. was then stationed at Dannevirke, Mar ton, and Wanganui until a year ago when lie retired owing to ill-health. He was the holder of the three service medals, and the New Zealand -long, efficient service medal, and the meritorious service medal.
