YOUNG MAN 1 PLEADS GUILTY

An orgy of crime’ involving the tli-j/t----of goods valued at '£2oo, four cases' conversion of motor cal's, two of breaking and entering, .and theft, and one of receiving stolen goods was revealed in the Magistrate’s' Court when ThomasKidd, aged 25, a coach trimmer, pleaded guiPy to eighteen charges.
He was committed for sentence on thj burglarly charges, the remaining cases being adjourned.
The burglarly case® included 1 hat at the Pioneer Sports Club, Christchurch, and the theft of jewellery valued at £IOO at Rangiora,
