TWO MEN SENT TO GAOL

Two • unemployed labourers, Raymond Patrick Letton 26, and Edwin J. V. Roberts, 23, were' sentenced to three and two months’ imprisonment respectively, for conversion of a car. , Letton was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for theft of 70 dozen eggs, two crates and a wheelbarrow, the property of the Auckland Producers’ Association. The terms are concurrent with a month’s imprisonment imposed on the two accused at New Plymouth on a charge of vagrancy.
