Challenges for the Rianfurly Shield were received from Waikato and North Auckland at the meeting of the Cantetrbury Rugby Union. It was decided to write to these unions asking tm m foy details of expenses, and to consider the subject further when the replies are received
It ’ was decided to offer the West Coast and Buller' unions £BS and £IOO respectively for Ranfurly Shield gaino expenses and half of the net gate up to £SO for an ordinary representative game.
