TEAR GAS BOMB

CHICAGO, July Rb A one-way tear gas bomb which cannot be thrown back by the intended target is ,to be added to the Chicago police weapons. Deputy Chief of Detectives Walter Storms announced to-day that the new missile, renders the, victim hors* de combat within twenty-four seconds. The old type' of bombs required four 'minutes to take effect, during- which time .they could be flung back at .the police.
