Beaurepaire, visited the swimming pool here: He suggested an improvement in. Andrew “Boy” Charlton’s turning, which should result in his showing 'greater speed. ' I ' ,• \ •The Australian Noel Ryan, recorded a good quarter-mile at training to-day. Scarf is again back, in form, and is wrestling daily. Barwick’s work-outs are confined to long walks and light exercise,; The sculler, Bobby Pearce,; did an ex-; ceptionally good trial this ihorning. The New Zealander, Black, is suffering from soreness of the back, and has eased his work. Savidan, the New Zealand distance runner, worked strongly, ,: Miss Thelma Kench (N.Z.). is showing improving form.
