Tlie Reefton “Times” says:—The easy way the R.efton public are taken down, is more than surprising. Same seven or eight weeks ago a young man canvas.ed the town f r suits fur men, and coats etc. tor ladies. He was eminently successful, and it is computed that lie secured more than fifty orders, each being accompanied by a deposit of not lees than one pound. This is the 1-st any of those who gave an order have seen or heard of this enterprising gentleman, and it should rbo be a lesson to Reeftouites to make in : q,dries before giving any , Grangers orders for nnvthng.
