A great passenger plane travelling from Chile to Buenois Aires, with two pilots and seven passengers, was lost in a snowstorm over the Andes. It •left Santiago at daylight and failed to arrive by 10,a.m. An aeroplane, has •searched unsuccessfully. CANTERBURY PLANE’S MISHAP. ASHBURTON, July 18. Through striking power Rues two miles from Lauriston yesterday afternoon, a Moth plane belonging to the Canterbury Aero Club, iliad its undelcarriage wrecked, although the rest of the plane was not damaged.' A passenger, Miss M. Gibson, wa s not injured. Flying-Officer J. R. Richardson received a skinned nose.
