I j ■ WELLINGTON, July 15. ; 'The New Zealand hockey representatives, leaving to-day by the Maungariui, were farewelled by the Mayor of Wellington, and the Health Minister Mr, Young, as representing the Government. The manager of the team, Mr Si S. Holland, said that they were going to play hockey, and were determined to “play cricket” in all things The Mayor and Air Young could feel assured that nothing would be done to detract from the good name of New Zealand. Mr Poulter, on behalf •of the New Zealand Ladies Hockey Association, presented a handsome mas- 1 qbt in the shape of a large size musikfoj rabbit, tricked out in a Hockey Association sokl lettered ribbon.
