TRY FOR SPEED BOAT RECORD LONDON, July 14. After successful trial runs in the motor boat Miss England.lll. on Loch Lomond to-day, Kaye Don notified his intention of attacking .the water speed record to-morrow. 'H: He did one run to-day at 100.2 miles an hour, which is three miles under the record. FATALITY AT HOSPITAL. TAUMARUNUI, July 15. An inquest was held concerning the death of Mnvys Evelyn Harvey, a single woman, aged 21, at the Taumarunui Public Hospital, while under an anaesthetic. The Coroner returned a. verdict by misadventure, while under anesthetic, no blame being attachable to anyone.
