APPOINTED FOR SOUTH ISLAND, (Per Press Association— Copyright■) . • WELLINGTON, July 15. The appointment of Mr Samuel Ritchie, a solicitor, of Invercargill,' es a Conciliation Commissioner under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, has been gazetted. It is understood that the new Commissioner will operate in ih© 1 Canterbury, Southland and West Coast , districts, the North Island, and Marlborough, being covered by Mr P. Halley, who, ‘ for some time, -has been the only Commissioner, in New Zealand.
