What ha's become known as the Chapman prospecting expedition f left or C'amcowea] on the first stage of
‘ what is likely to p.ove an historic quest for gold in Central Australia. Til's twenty men, each an expert in his particular line. It will prospect over, a wde area, on the western side of 'Central Australia, which has never befoie been traversed, owing to lack of water. The equipment includes an aeroplane, wireless and photographic apparatus, for recording the life of aboriginal tribes, who> have never come in contact with white men.
The expedition will be absent for s’x months.
