Yesterday afternoon, under ideal conditions, the Supreme Club held its sixth successful race for the Pointer Cup from Lake Mapouriki, a distance of (0 miles. * •Although there -were poor entries keen racing took place, with J. Andrew’s “Tattle Hope” securing fir-'t place from H. Andrew’s “Come back Jill,” in a field of fourteen.
The result of the. l-iice was:—J. Anddrew’s “Little Hope” 1, H. Andrew’s "Come back Jid” 2, G. Kerr'.s “Flyaway Jack” 3.
Also competed :—Wind f” 11 Lofts, Supreme Lofts, Luckybird Lofts, Imperial Lofts, H. Andrews, Triumph Loft, J. Lawn, N.,-Samson and E. Paul. Points for the. (Cup ar e as .follows: G. Kerr 12, J. Andrews 12, H, Andrews 10, D. \Toynihan 5, W. Dwg'i 5, . B. (Parker 3, A. ,Pierson 1, J. Lawn 1.
