ANOTHER ATTEMPT
TO WRECK PASSENGER TRAIN,

•SYDNEY, July 9
The sixth attempt since June 13th. was made last night to wreck a passenger train in tire I’a.ree district. The train, from Sydney to Kempsey was travelling at twenty-five miles an hour in heavy rain and crashed into sleepers placed across the tKes.
The passengers fait n| jn.!t, and some jumped from the carriages as the train was brought to a .standstill. The authorities have now placed a day and night patrol on the line and drivers hav . been ordered to travel at a greatly reduced speed.
