■ TWO MEN CHARGED WITH ARSON. DUNEDIN, July 6. An outbreak o>f fire in a shop in Richardson street, St. KildiC at, an early hour on Sunday morning has been followed by some interestling developments. . Chief-Detective Young -applied! for rt week’s remand and,' in opposing an application for bail,, he said thfe'Accused had admitted the charge,:which*.was a most serious one. Mackenzie was the owner of .the simp, and. Stewart was working for him. As a -result of the fire tlie premises we re nlmofet l l'ompletely gutted. In respect to the man who is yet to appear, it 'is understood thiit*’he received extensive- burns as a result of the ignition of patrol. He 'Vvas first f all taken to Mosgeil, wlr-re lie consulted a doctor, who ordered him into hospital for immediate treatment.
