PIGEON FLYING

SUPREME CLUB RACE

On Sunday afternoon, under, excellent conditions, the fifth successful race for the Pointer Cup was held by the Supreme Flying Club, front Okarito, a distance of 78 miles.

G. Kerr’s “Come Back Jill”, again' proved successful out of twenty biids, representing- fifteen lofts, winning from W. Parker’s “Micky Mouse.” ( The result of the race was as follows: G. Kerr’s “Come Back Jill” 1; W. Parker’s “Micky Mouse” 2nd; J. Andrew’s “Little Hope” 3rd. Also started: Windfall Lofts, H. Andrews, W. Dwan, D. Moynihan, Navada Lofts, E. Paul, L. Andrews, J. Lawn, N. Samson,’A. Laing, G. Laing, M. Dwan, and G. Worming ton.

Points for the Pointer Cup are as follows: —T. Kerr 11, J. Andrews 7, H. Anclrews 7, W. Dwan 5, W. Parker 5, D. Moynihan 5, A. Laing 5, H. Pierson 1, J. Lawn 1.
