COAL TROUBLE
WAIKATO MINE'S. TO RE-OPEN ON MONDAY. (Per Press Association— Copyright.) AUCKLAND, July 1. It is expected that all mines in "Waikato Avilll be re-opened on Monday. It is definitely .stated that two mines, Renown and G-lenafton will offer work to th!e men on Monday morning. It is understod the president of the Coal Aline Owners Association at the end of the conference' yesterday informed the men emphatically that the oAvneirs were determined to get coal. Waikato miners have been idle for one month and it is estimated they have; lost £12,000 in wages, while the Companies losses amount to about £B,OOO.
