Reserved judgment was delivered in the (Supreme Court this afternoon, by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers,' in a case in ivh.cn the Wellington City ■Corporation, under an agreement, dated 9th September, 1927, t claimed £SOOO from the syndicate known as Bond (Street, ■ Ltd., for- the .widening of' the old Customhouse Street (the new Bond (Street) and Parish Street. In their statement •of defence, Bond Street, Ltd., denied that the Corporation had fulfilled its obligations. Id was also alleged that Corporation bad not proceeded 'with "the’ work' With clue diligence, and the Company counterclaimed for £IO,OOO damages.
