Cruickshank also rallied at the finish to tie with Perkin,s for second. They .scored 289 each. Diegel was next with 294 ; others being, Cox 295, Dutra, Jarado, Cooper and Barker each •297; and Hagen 298. Kirkwood was far behind with 301. Sara/.en’s score has only been equalled once in the 36 years of the Open Championship history.
