SIAMESE REVOLT
PEOPLE’S DEMAND FOR CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY BERLIN, June 25. A dramat’e telephone message to the paper "Vossich Zeitung,” from the German airwoman, Marga Von Ftz dorf, who at present is at Bangkok, reports a revolution in Siam. During the nigh;:-, it states, the Siamese Privies and Ministers were imprisoned in the palace as hostages. Their Majesties, the King and Queen, were absent at their seaside nome. There are rebel.’.ous sailors and soldiers thronging the streets of Bangkok. (There are tanks and machine guns everywhere. A later message, . from Singapore, confirms the reports of a Siamese resolution. It has been completely successful.
The People’s Party have demanded a constitutional monarchy, failing which a suitable Prince will bo appointed as King. The King of Siam has replied, accepting all of the conditions. 'Complete order now prevails.
